Overview

The Submit Feedback feature allows you to share your thoughts, suggestions, and experiences directly with our team. Whether you've encountered an issue, have an idea for improvement, or want to tell us what's working well, we value your input.

How to Submit Feedback

Step 1: Access the Feedback Button

  • Locate the "Feedback" button in the top menu bar of the addon
  • The button has a chat bubble icon for easy identification

Step 2: Choose Feedback Type

You have three options when submitting feedback:

  1. General Feedback

    • Click the "Feedback" button
    • Use this for general comments, suggestions, or feature requests
  2. Bug Report

    • Click the "Bug" button
    • Use this to report technical issues or unexpected behavior
  3. Help Request

    • Click the "Help" button
    • Use this when you need assistance using the addon

Step 3: Fill Out the Feedback Form

  1. Enter your feedback in the text field provided
  2. Be as specific as possible - include:
    • What you were trying to do
    • What actually happened
    • What you expected to happen
    • Any error messages you received

Step 4: Submit

  • Click the "Submit" button to send your feedback
  • You'll receive a confirmation message when your feedback is successfully submitted

Tips for Effective Feedback

  1. Be Specific

    • Instead of: "The formula didn't work"
    • Better: "When I tried to generate a formula for column A using the 'summarize' prompt, I got an error message saying 'Invalid range'"
  2. Include Steps to Reproduce For bug reports, list the exact steps that led to the issue:

    1. Selected Column A

    2. Entered prompt "summarize data"

    3. Clicked Generate Formula

    4. Received error message

  3. Provide Context

    • What sheet were you working with?
    • What type of data were you processing?
    • What were you trying to achieve?

What Happens Next?

After submitting feedback:

  1. Our team reviews all submissions within 1-2 business days
  2. Bug reports are prioritized for investigation
  3. Feature requests are evaluated for future updates
  4. Help requests receive personalized responses
